Literature Text

even the palm trees
are pale in paradise;
perhaps there is no such
thing, the lie of golden
sanctuaries and a place
where you won't be judged
for being yourself.

sometimes i feel alone
within a crowd because
i'm a basic hotel room:
stay for a little
while, leave and never
come back.

(they always leave garbage
for the maids to clean up)

es sólo tan sola,
even words from another
language are (self-)aware of it;

sorry!
no bubblegum or
cherry cola here,
everyone already
left a long, long
time ago.
Showers are really helpful for coming up with ideas.

Here's an annoying speech for you! >:D
This is prompt seven from a list of prompts I created here: Write a Poem
I know you've all heard it a million times, but now
YOU GET TO HEAR IT A MILLION & ONE MWAHAHA :evillaugh:

(My metaphors really don't make sense.
Apparently I'm a hotel room now.)

ANYWAYS: I hope you enjoyed the poem because I dunno what to think of it.
Just random.

xD

I love how you still manage to laugh in your writing in spite of
how dreary it is. I wish I could do that more often.
