when i saw you
i mistook your face for a glimpse of heaven up above,
as an angel casually roaming this earth because he got cast away like the master of sin;
except you just happened to fall down the rabbit hole on pure accident.
and when you saw me
you thought i was about to kill myself
you thought i was going to end what my mother begun,
let it pour down the drain of wasted life.
but i don't blame you for your assumptions
since i'd given up on clinging onto someone for all eternity;
stopped loving a mortal like something i treasured as a worldly possession.
except the tables were turned,
since i didn't own you,
you took over me.

I've had the thought of writing this for a LOOONG time.
