a brunette, spunky, romanticized
marilyn monroe with feather boas
wrapping around her neck, (not a
whore, a national anthem), boys
piling up at her feet offering
tiffany's and cartier's;
"no, no, no, no, no!"
they dreamed of the rise of
hollywood and los angeles,
where exactly, are the angels?
a place where the money piles high and
the paparazzi won't stay low; but i am
not a goddess, i cannot influence a nation
with charisma and contorted lips.
gargoyles stood at the gates
of hell, mocking everyone who passed
through with eyes open wide, like
pizza pies, licking memories clean
with amnesia so that no one could
really understand why they were in
limbo in the first place.
"no, no, no, no, no!"
stone and fire compose the world,
there is nothing left of ice or
aquamarine life; there's only
suffering.

This was inspired by one of the most unique poems I've ever come across: ~ stony breathless dark mind ~
There's four poems inside of ONE poem. It can be read in so many ways, it's just incredible
(In case you didn't know what happened;
There are two separate poems at the beginning. The last one is a mix of the two.)
So yes, this was another experimental poem XD
I really, really hope you like it! It took me a while to put this together (because I was procrastinating lol)
But really, I hope you enjoy. c:
